Do Be OuT
I am entranced by the world of blogs these days. Since quitting Facebook, I have immersed myself in yet another Internet addiction, and arguably, even more creepy. At least with Facebook, I could snoop around the business of people who are my "friends" (I intentionally use quotation marks, by the by). With blogs, I can read all about the lives of perfect strangers.
And I do.
This blog, however, is different. It's not a personal journal, a political commentary, or anything I am used to seeing in blogs. No, it is merely a collection of photos of stupidly misused quotation marks.
I love it.
I am posting one for you, because when reading it, I laughed out loud, and hard, and that's kind of a neat experience, especially when one is home alone!
Quoting from blog:
"Submitter Susan adds that 'This sign comes from a gun club (a clubhouse for men with guns who like to drink beer in the woods) in Northeastern PA.'
This is classic. I think there are quotation marks around "when leaving party" because, I mean, if you're that fun, you ARE the party - so you never leave it. Also, the duct tape holding it up is a nice detail."
I hope you enjoyed that as much as me. Now go read the blog, and especially go to Greatest Hits. The photos and the comments (especially on "a" puppy) might just bowl you over with glee.
And I do.
