Five Favourites (39 weeks pregnant edition)
So here I am, just four days away from my due date, having squandered my last shred of energy on batch-cooking for the freezer (and now, with no energy left, we have already dug into those freezer meals. Oops).
So given my exhausted state, sitting around and writing a blog post, it is!
1.
This fabulous video.
Young Ethan Metzger competes in a Bronx Youth Poetry slam
and gives a brilliant apologia for his faith.
Worth watching!
2.
Another great post from the clever mind of Matt Walsh
This post is so uproariously funny at times that it made both me and my husband cry-laugh.
I like a good cry-laugh now and then.
3.
Imagine playing this while watching the five-hour long BBC "Pride and Prejudice"?
I'd call that a fast-track to getting very inebriated.
Even if you have no intention of doing it, this is a very fun read.
4.
Gordon Pinset reads Bieber
Oh to be 16 and actually publish such awkward memoirs about oneself!
Gordon Pinset does such a hilarious job of showcasing the absurdity of Justin Bieber's biography.
I hope you find this as funny as I did.

"I Shall be Released"
I love Bob Dylan.
(Am I not from the coolest family ever -- I got to see him live with my mom, my grandmother and a whole passel of aunts, uncles and cousins when I was only 12!)
I love Jack Johnson, too.
So Jack Johnson covering this song? Phenomenal.
Plus, it's become my little anthem as I approach the impending birth of my baby.
"Any day now, any day now, I shall be released."
Indeed.

Praying for you and your baby as you enjoy that last little time together before sharing him with the world. :)
