A little bit about our oldest

I would love to do a vacation wrap-up post, or an All Saints' Day post, and perhaps I will sometime soon. But so many other things are jockeying for my attention right now. I know, though, that I need to take a second and record a few of Noah's latest gems before I forget them.

A short-and-sweet Noah post -- go!

  • (In the sweetest voice imaginable.) Mommy, when I am a carpenter, and you are old, I will make you a wheelchair ramp for your home. (How could I not laugh?)
  • (When asked "What do you want to be when you grow up?") An obstetrician in New Brunswick that delivers tiger babies.
  • (While playing carpenter) Hey wanna come to my house for dinner? My wife is a good cook! (I just wanted to squeeze Patrick and Noah when our sweet boy said this, because I think Daddy's constant compliments on my cooking are showing them how to treat their potential future wives with respect.)

And my favourite by far:
(While seeing a flyer ad for a certain kind of candy). Oh those were Nana Carm's favourite! I want to buy her some so I can bring them to her when I get to heaven, too.

Comments

  1. This post made my day :) We have missed you guys bunches, and getting a little Craine update is delightful.

Hopefully I will be up and about again soon so we can do a play day :)

  2. These Noah comments are incredible - the wheelchair ramp is beautiful. I sure hope that one of my sons will build me something when I'm decrepit. Or at least pay Noah to build it for me.
